Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Engineer – BBS with 6–7 years of experience in Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) preparation, reinforcement detailing, quantity verification, and site coordination. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in RCC structural drawings, steel quantity estimation, and reinforcement planning for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) as per approved structural drawings.
• Perform reinforcement detailing for RCC structural elements.
• Verify steel quantities and prepare BOQ/quantity reconciliation reports.
• Coordinate with site engineers, planning, and execution teams to ensure accurate reinforcement work.
• Resolve reinforcement-related technical issues by coordinating with structural consultants.
• Monitor steel consumption and ensure proper material utilization.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and construction timelines.
• Maintain documentation related to BBS, steel reconciliation, and reinforcement records.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in BBS preparation and reinforcement detailing.
• Strong knowledge of RCC drawings and structural engineering concepts.
• Experience in quantity verification, steel estimation, and reconciliation.
• Good understanding of construction methodologies and site execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and BBS-related software (Tekla/Rebar CAD is an added advantage).
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification

•  B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
